The Ethereal Mainnet Alpha will launch on October 20th. This is another exciting step towards bringing our vision of a DeFi everything app powered by USDe to life. Thank you to all the users and community members who have contributed to the development of Ethereal so far.

Access will initially be limited to the top 100 users currently on the Ethereal mainnet waitlist. As a reminder, waitlist position is a function of Season Zero participation, referral activity, and other onchain/DeFi wallet metrics. More users will be whitelisted for access at an accelerated pace as the rollout progresses in the weeks following the initial launch.

With Ethereal mainnet live, Season One: Epoch 1 will also officially come to a close. Holders of eUSDe will continue receiving Ethereal points emissions through 23:59 UTC on October 29th. Starting in Epoch 2, points distributions will generally occur on a weekly cycle.

As previously described, Season One: Epoch 2 is designated as the full period during which Ethereal remains in the initial alpha phase. With the start of Epoch 2, whitelisted users will begin earning native USDe rewards on their full margin balance for the first time while also earning Ethereal points for trading activity.

The emphasis of Epoch 2 is on interacting with Ethereal mainnet. Users can earn Season One points through several core activities, including but not limited to trading, holding USDe margin, or referrals. As a reminder, all Season Zero participants are also eligible for a 100% boost on points earned in Season One (up to their Season Zero balance).
